At Bright Link Ventures (BLV), we believe that you should have full control of your personal data. As such, we do not use cookies on our site, and we do not collect data. If you would like to request access to the members section of our website that will necessitate your giving us an email address.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT, AND HOW IS IT USED?

We do not collect your information to use the Bright Link Ventures website.

In the event you would like to request access to the members area of our website you will need to provide us with your name and email address. Once you have a username and password, you will have the option to click ‘remember me’, so you do not have to enter your username and password every time you visit the site. The ‘remember me’ function sends a cookie to the user’s browser with an instruction to store the username and password details – it is not the website that remembers your log in details but your browser. If you wish to book an appointment using our online scheduling tool we will require your name, email, phone number and/or SKYPE handle. We do not use cookies and do not track your usage of our site or any other browsing data. See below for more information on how your information is used:

Members’ Area: we use a third-party plug-in WishList Member (member.wishlistproducts.com) to securely register and log you in to our Members’ Area where BLV publishes exclusive content and resources for our clients and associates use. If you have requested access to the member area of our site, we will require an email address at which point we can generate a username and a password for you. Neither BLV nor WishList will use your personal details for any other purpose. WishList does not have access to or store any user log in details.

How is this data used?
The log in information will only be used to identify you in order to grant access to this area of the website.

Booking Appointments: we use a third-party service called 10to8.com to schedule meetings and phone call appointments. If you opt to use this service, you will be asked to provide the following information: your name, email address, phone number and if requesting a Skype call, your Skype handle. How is this data used?
The information you provide will only be used to contact you to confirm the details of the appointment booked or to send you a reminder ahead of the appointment.

BLV will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

CHANGING OR REMOVING YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS

If you no longer wish to have access to the members area or want to amend or remove the details that we hold, please email your request to info@blvltd.com and we will action your request within 30 days.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website contains links to other websites of interest. Once you click on a link that takes you to information on another website, you will be governed by the policies of that website. Outside sites are not governed by Bright Link Venture’s privacy statement, so please exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
